I had wooden flooring laid by them in my lounge, dining and study area, 1 year ago. The flooring started separating a few months ago. They came to check the floors and said I must have had the underfloor heating on too high. I pointed out that it had not been on at all!!
I was assured that it was a minor issue and they could sort it out quickly.
After weeks of my calls to the manager and the sales rep, being dodged, messages being left with the secretary and never responded to, I finally threatened legal action!!
Suddenly I got a call back from the owner, I once again had to explain the whole situation. It was agreed that a team would be here today to sort out the problem.
I'vetaken a day off work to be here and by 11:00, they still hadn't arrived!! I then once again phoned Michael (who couldn't remember what the problem was). I was then informed that his teams were very busy and he would get back to me in 5 minutes as to when they would arrive. Needless to say, I have still heard nothing.
I'm sure that if Quick Step knew what damage this company is doing to their products reputation, they would be horrified and I intend to let them know!!
Thus I'm resorting to legal action
