Part of our renovations this year included installing wooden flooring. After searching for a product that met with all the specifications, we approached The Flooring Company for a quote. At that time I made it very clear to them that I needed to do the floors of the whole house in the same product, although we would be doing the renovations in stages. They assured me that the stock would be available. During the first phase I experienced several issues with the installers of the product. Eventually the owner of the business sorted some of the issues out. At that stage, (which is now more than two months ago) I ordered and paid for the stock for the second phase of the renovations. Two weeks later I was informed that the supplier had run out of stock (despite the fact that I already paid for it) and it would be delivered in the beginning of July. The supplier actually phoned me to confirm that the stock would be here in the first week. We are now in the second week and I still have no stock and no clarity when I can expect to have the floors done. We are unable to complete the renovations without this!
