My camera broke. I am not sure what the problem was. I could switch it on but the lense did not open when I switched it on. I then took the camera to Kodak in Tyger Valley (same place I bought it) and reported the matter. I bought the camera less than a year ago so it is under warranty. Kodak confirmed this and said there would be no costs for repairs. The camera was fixed after a month or so and when I went to collect it I was told I should pay about R900. How is it possible that I should pay the same amount I used to buy the camera? And what happened to the warranty period? I am very disappointed in Kodak and this is the second camera I bought from them. I will not buy anything from Kodak again after this very bad service.
