I bought a suit from them last week. I paid R3 500 for a suit (which to me is a lot of money). They convinced me to rather buy a suit from them, as the quality is of highest standard.
30 minutes after wearing the suit to an important event at the weekend, I looked out of place, because the suit button just fell off. It was never sewed on in the first place.
I called them on Monday, and all they could say is sorry.
My point is: If the Carducci suit is so expensive, and so much better quality, but the button falls off within a few minutes, what is the quality of the rest.
I want a money back option, but all they said is I can drive through (200km return) on my own account, and the will sew it on.
That is not service. I could have bought 3 suits from Woolworths for the same money!!
I doubt the quality of suits they sell, and the pathetic after-sale service! A decent company would have said it might be a blunder, and they understand the frustration of letting me look like a fool at an very important event, and offer to refund the suit in full.
That would have been a company that wanted continues business out of the customer.
Carducci and Romens is equally guilty!
