Hi,
First of all the service from Ford Umgeni is very poor. Since the day I
started dealing with Ford Umgeni, I have had endless troubles. Their customer
service skills are quite poor.
I reported my vehicle to be faulty over numerous times and to no avail, the
guys told me to bring it in, they will check it out and report back to me. I
have had problems whereby the car is drinking fuel, I only get a maximum of
like 380KM's out of a "full tank".
The problems I am having with my vehicle are the following:
1. Car is very heavy on fuel.
2. Noises and rattles almost everywhere in the car.
3. Speakers crackling
4. Can only fill fuel up to 30 litres maximum. I have to fill twice a
week and I work 20km's away from home.(reported this fault over a thousand
times probably).
5. Car is very sluggish. I would literally have to drop gears to climb
a hill of 20 degrees gradient.
6. The car takes oil like crazy! I need to top up oil at least every 2
weeks.
Still to date nothing has been done to resolve my problems.
