We recently moved to Cape Town and had some things that we had to put in storage. My husband contacted a few storage facilities. He asked me to pay the monthly installment for May 2013. I contacted Silverpark Self Storage to get the reference no and correct amount that we had to pay (as this was the documents my husband gave me). I confirmed with Chantal my surname and she gave me the reference no and amount that I had to pay. This was done. My husband contacted me to say that I did not pay the storage. After a major argument we realised that the wrong company was paid. I contacted Chantal and mailed a letter and proof of payment requesting my refund as she instructed me to do. I have contacted her every day only to get the same excuse: "She is waiting for the owner to refund the money". I asked for the owners number put this I am not allowed to get and her only contact with the owner is via e-mails - which according to her, he does not respond to.
