In this day and age, one would expect that EVERY company, no matter the size, has some kind of return policy.
Not Carlton, no. They simply refuse to refund any products bought there.
We bought a few products (about R1000), which was suggested and just rung up on the till. The next day we wanted to return the products. Not even opening the products, we took it back, and then ran into this situation.
Sure, we should have stopped the lady then and there, but that's not the point.
We were continuously told they will not refund us and to contact head office, why can't this be settled at the branch by the branch manager, surely that's why they exist?
How does a company continue to run and be "successful" when they refuse to do refunds. We were told that they will only give us a Carlton Account/Gift card with the balance, but how does that compare to a refund?
