I received an sms notification from this firm alleging that I had defaulted on my contract with Health and Racquet reference 1118017639, seems like all the idiotic firms that portray themselves as real attorneys get the debt collection from all the defunct businesses e.g. Health and Racquet, TV license etc. It just so happens to be that both my wife and I are attorneys so naturally I made an inquiry which resulted in the following
1) They got an identity number which apparently is mine, but the name does not match.
2) The identity number indicates that at the time of concluding the contract I was at the tender age of 15 that should in itself void the contract because I did not have the required capacity to conclude the contract.
3) The bank account number does not belong to me hence the debit order was from another persons account.
4) The period of prescription has come and gone many years ago and as such the debt is eliminated.
They are the reason why people dislike attorneys that actually try to earn a decent honest living.
