On 16 January 2012, I received an sms regarding an alleged debt I have with Health and Racquet from JM Attorneys. When I called, the lady advised me that I owe R534-00. She said that they tried getting hold of me in 2001-2002. She then sent me a bill of R4 031-00. I have never had any calls from any attorneys or Health and Racquet and never heard of JM Attorneys before in my life. My H&R account was fully paid up completely in 2001 and the contract was subsequently cancelled before they were liquidated. If they did not update their records in terms of payments or not sure what they did with my monies while getting liquidated as the account was fully settled. Why am I being harassed and wrongfully accused of owing these monies. I have never had any bad debt records as I always pay my debts upfront. I owe nothing to H&R but now getting threatening demands from JM Attorneys. An audit should be done with this company as they seem to be doing this to loads of innocent people. This is unlawful damage to my reputation and this company should be investigated for wrongful debt collection. I am a single mother and struggling financially etc. and cannot just provide monies to some
