Despite explaining that I've been out the country they are claiming I own money on my TV licence since 1996.
When I asked for evidence, I get an 8 page .tif file that is barely legible.
What made me want to comment here and is unique is that they meshed my account which was 100% settled with my wife's newly created account so they can use the past to mix with the current, all of this without my consent, basically a tactic to hold me accountable for an illegitimate claim. Illegal one would think? None the less when I approached them around this all I get now is harassment via emails and sms. When I reply asking for details/facts I get ignored.
If they do indeed pass a bad credit judgment, I will be approaching my lawyer to sue for defamation of character.
There must be something the public can do other than moan here, how can we influence how this company does business or who chooses them as a company?
Companies out there note, by using this company you are effecting your brand reputation and I for one would go as far as saying that if you use this company I would switch suppliers on the basis you're representation is not competent nor customer focused and practices immoral values.
