I have been contacted by Groenewald Lubbe attorneys on FNB behalf. Amounts due change with every correspondence (either down or up) & this is very different to what the bank statement shows is due.
When requested copy of the instructions/mandate from FNB authorising them to handle the collection, they are unable/refuse to give same.
When asking for information according to rights of NCR & FOIA they refuse to provide same i.e. statements of account, instruction/mandate from FNB to collect. When I try to request again, they deflect & refuse to provide.
All said & done, this seems to be a - if they have been instructed by FNB, it shows poor professionalism on FNB's part to have incompetents like these acting as their legal collection agency.
