We purchased a camera lens vrom "Yo Pappy" on bid or buy. Paid R950-00 over by EFT to the seller
When the goods arrived, sent by lowest rate surface mail of SA post office (we paid for secure postage), it was found in a damaged condition and no protective packaging material used (Lens just placed in an oversized box)
When she seller was contacted he expressed his concern and blamed the post office. He said he used protective packaging but we have evidence that it was not the case. Photos and a witness to prove otherwise
We reported it to Bidorbuy they supplied the sellers email address, seller suggested we return the broken lens but refuses to supply a return address??? order: 6611149 Ticket ID: LGE-937-70892
Surely Bidorbuy should verify their suppliers like checking their RICA or FICA status so that bogus sellers can not swindle us out of our honest money?
It appears that this "Yo Pappy" obviously sells damaged goods for new!!!
Please Peter lets do something here, I have the emails to prove my statement, where/how can I send it to you.
I listened to one of your talks given to the auditors of the SABS a few years ago and enjoyed every minute.
Regards
Peter Bennet
