Bloggers beware, Bay Point Trading steals articles

I replied on a Gumtree advertisement for content writing for Bay Point. Lauren Pontes emailed me stating that I was shortlisted and had to supply a trial article on a specific topic. I sent the article and did not hear anything for a few days.
A Google search informed me that my article was published on a website. I decided to wait for feedback from Lauren before querying the publication without my permission. On 25 Sept I received an email from Lauren stating that my application was unsuccessful.
I replied and queried the publication of the article as this was not communicated during the application process. According to her all articles were published and the client could choose which writer they prefer. That is an understandable reason, but it is clear that my article was the only article published on that website since July. Lauren's excuse that the client uses different domains is extremely hard to believe. My article was removed at my request.

This is a warning to all bloggers and content writers to be wary of this company. It seems as if they lure applicants to write trial articles and use these articles without consent and payment. Very sneaky business practice!!!
