On August 18th, I was browsing on the BID or BUY website.
There was an item that I wanted & the price was marked down by more than 50%.
The supplier is ORANGE MUSIC PRETORIA. I googled the supplier.
The same item also appeared on the suppliers website, at the special advertised price as BID OR BUY.
I then proceeded with purchasing on BID OR BUY, following the rules to complete an order. A few minutes later I received an order confirmation email from BID OR BUY.
The supplier needs to complete an invoice before I can make payment of the goods.
The next day I received an email from the supplier, that the order is cancelled because of a system glitch in the uploading procedures to the websites & they will not sell the product to me at the advertised price.
I immediately emailed both BID OR BUY &; ORANGE MUSIC to overturn the ruling, but without success.
The email from the operations manager at BID OR BUY, Cual Akal, distances himself from any pricing issues, he states there is no rules on incorrect or misleading prices.
Today, I discover my BID OR BUY a/c is deleted, probably to prevent me from posting on their blog.
I Need clarity if the ruling can be reversed.
