I was admitted into the hospital weeks ago. I was in the surgical ward. On admittance I was not briefed on what clothes to wear, later the nurse came in asking why I had not put on loose clothes.
During my stay there a friend called stating to ask what time is visiting hours; I had not seen any sign saying the times.
I asked to speak to the manager but till now have not heard from him/her.
The telephone number or address was not easily displayed and therefore could not inform my visitor or anything.
I was once admitted to another private hospital in the country. Once I was admitted in the ward ther a nurse explained evrything to me, on my bedside was a small brochure with the visiting hours, management and contact details. On discharged I even received a card saying get well.
The nurses at Lenmed during the night used to run a huge racket patients could even sleep.
My family say that they spent hours looking for the wards that were not demarcated. They also said that they had to walk all the way around to get in.
Just last week I heard a car had ben in the parking lot.
What is this hospital coming to?
I know it's might cost hundreds and thousands of rand bt wil help alot
