Surgery I wasn't told about was done to me

I am willing to sue the hospital for this, and have a claim on them.

I am admitted in Netcare St Augustine's Hospital in Durban and was diagnosed with Cellulitis on my right leg and a urinary infection. They had treated the wound on my leg and it has healed, which they dressed it with Jelonet and Gauze also bandages. They kept me on antibiotics for five days to kill the infection which then came right.

I then asked the doctor to order a catheter for me which I was going to use when I go home, since my previous one that I was using was worn out, which is what might have lead to the infection. He then ordered it but I struggled to insert it in because of the big size it is. Explained to him and the nurses gave me a smaller one for single use and it worked in draining the urine.

The doctor then told me I will go to theater for Cytse-scopy, which . he will then check if I have anything wrong internally, which is the only thing that I was aware of and was told about. But I came out with a hole below my abdomen and a Suprapubic catheter installed inside me through the hole, that I was not told it was going to be done. Please help me sue the hospital for this damage.
