Very poor service

Since November 2012 I have experienced numerous problems with Discovery Health.

The first occasion happened when my medical aid was suspended for four months and the reason cited by Discovery was that I did not pay for Discovery Vitality. I asked that the Vitality part be removed because I am unemployed and cannot afford it. I was told that it was removed but still my cover was suspended.

On 2013-04-15 my cover was again suspended. I phoned the call center and spoke to Thabo to try and resolve the issue. It took two hours just to get him to listen to me and at the end he still could not help me. He requested that I provide him with a reference number, which I did, and he informed me that he cannot find the payment on the system. He then requested I fax through proof of payment and I did comply.

I pay discovery on the 27th of every month and I cannot understand why every month they cannot find my payment on their system. This results that every month my cover is being suspended. I am on chronic medication and I need the medication to cope.

I have informed Thabo that I will complain on social media and to HelloPeter and he told me that I can do whatever. The list is endless
