My son had a very high temperature and was struggling to breathe due to a lung infection and we landed up at Unitas casualty at 23:30 on Saturday night. The staff were fantastic! They were caring and informative and treated my son so well. We were there for a few hours and were exhausted, but we left feeling happy. He was so much better by the time we left, we were told what to expect and we had been treated with kindness and caring every step of the way.
When we collected his medication from the pharmacy at about 3:30 on Sunday morning, the pharmacist was fantastic. She explained every bit of medication, answered our questions and was just so friendly. I have been to casualty at other hospitals and Unitas was a breathe of fresh air.
Thank you so much to all the staff who work these terrible hours to be there for us when we need them.
