I terminated my Discovery medical aid during last year. I recieved a phone call saying a further amount was payable to them. I requested a breakdown on how this amount was arrived at. This continued for a period of 6 months with no details being supplied. I do not pay bills based on a phone call without supporting details which I made clear to their call centre several times. Each time they assured me a reconcilation would be sent to me. This never happened. They have now blacklisted me with the credit bureau despite the error being on their side!!! I would love to run a business where I could just phone and say this money is due without having to support my claim!!!
