Spec-savers Sa
Total Disaste

In January, my daughter and I went to Mall@Reds Specsavers. My
daughter was prescribed new contact lenses. I phoned many times
wanting to know if they were ready. I was always kept on hold and then
promised they would phone back. Needless to say - this did not
happen. I then received an acc and saw it was for du Plessis. WRONG!
When I phoned I was told med aid would not pay so I had to pay. I
pointed out the reason for non-payment - wrong name submitted. After
more calls, I was finally told we could fetch lenses. When my daughter
asked which lens was for which eye, the receptionist said they were
the same for both eyes and if she needed more they had plenty in stock. As her eyes
are not the same and her previous lenses were different for each eye, I
queried this. The lady spoke to a woman she called "Eloise" who waved her
away and brushed off the problem with "I am busy. They are close
enough." Huh? Why pay for eye tests if staff dish out "in-stock"
lenses as they please? Incidentally, the lady before us was also
having trouble with her lenses. We took the lenses, but my daughter
said her vision is blurred. She cannot wear them.
