On the 25th February 2013 I phoned the medical Aid for authorisation because my 4 year old daughter was injured.
I got to Lenmed Hospital in Lenasia where she was treated as an outpatient after a bad fall from the bunk bad and hit her head against the shelve of draws standing next to her bed and an X-ray was done on her because she was swollen on the left chick so we thought there was a fracture. They did an X-ray on the head and face fortunately there was no fracture so she was release the same night. I got a call today 27th 02 2013 to say I need to pay R 408.01 for the x-ray because the medical aid does'nt cover. I was not told the conditions when I got to the X-ray department by the receptionist. I pay the Medical Aid R 2536.00 and this is the that I get that means if I were to be involved in a car accident and hurt my head I wont get any help because my medical aid wont pay.
Something needs to be done with this Medical and just eating our money.
