1) I joined vitality last year, I havent been aware that the debit orders were returned twice. on my realisation, I called Discovery and was told I should have been contacted but I wasnt!!! I asked the consultant to debit my account with the amount that's in arrears and she adviced me that i should backdate I should rather reactivate my vitality effective 01/03/2013. I had read the term and conditions, I quote: "If you join vitality more than three months after joining Discovery, you'll have to wait another three months before you can use Vitality's travel benefits and partners." I was sooo irritated by the wrong information I was given and worse she goes and argues with me when I correct her.
2) According to the same consultant, i should have been contacted if the debit order didnt go through but I was never contacted and nor are there remarks on the system pertaining to this.
I joined vitality so that I could make use of the benefits this year. The standard and the quality of service at Discovery had gone down, this is not the first time I get such a disappointing service. I usually help my colleagues when they have queries or problems with their Discovery membership!
