Spec-savers Sa
Misrepresentation

On 5th January 2013 I went to specsavers to have my spectacles replaced. I was told after filling out forms that my medical aid was closed for the weekend. Furthermore I was under the impression that eye tests were free. After testing me the receptionist/consultant suddenly managed to find out from the "closed "medical aid that my benefits for optical requirements would only be available in August! I was then forced to fork out a fee of R365.00for the eyes test. Also there was a proud advertisment of 10%discount on cash paymments which was not offered to me. Furthermore the sales consultant told me that she would e-mail the prescription for me to have filled at my convenience which still has not happened.
