On 15th January 2023 at 17:29p.m I felt that my water broke when u looked down it was blood we than rushes to the nearest hospital which I was suppose to go give birth at (Discovery). At 17:48 I was at the labor ward in Discovery while my sisters where sitting outside the ward waiting. The security lady told me to sit on the chair at the front desk at that time there was no one I waited for few minutes than the nurse saw me and came, she asked what was wrong I told her I felt like water broke only to look down it was blood. She asked me to get in the room for her to check she checked for the baby's heart beat we could hear the baby's heartbeating, she than asked how many times I changed my pads I told her that was the first one I had on she gave me another pads to put and asked I I came with anyone I told her my husband is the one who bought me with his car. She than said I must rush to Rahima Moosa cause I need the Doctor to put me in a machine they don't have the machine. She never give me any letter or medication. We than rushed to Rahima Moosa. We arrived at ward 6 at around 18:20 my sister inlaw went with me in the nurse doing the BP pressure stop us from getting in she said she was busy with a patient my sister inlaw told her that this lady is coming out blood she said we must wait outside on waiting outside the nurse went to ward 6 and went out sitting on a electric wheelchair with her colleagues riding towards wars 12 left us there after few minutes another nurse notice I was sitting there for some time she came to ask if I was helped I told her no the nurse is gone. This nurse than helped me she called me in the room check that I was comin out blood and moved me to ward 6 to do scan. I than had to wait for the doctor to finish help 2 ladys than he called me in to do the scan there was no heartbeat of the baby the doctor asked why I only came now I was explaining to the doctor that I rushed to Discovery hospital went I was suppose to give birth from and how the was heartbeating of the baby there and how the nurse sent me to them the doctor said no you were wrong and the nurse too. The doctor said the nurse should have put me on drips and give medication to help my baby with the heartbeat than call an ambulance to take me to Rahima Moosa because it was an emergency case and it should have been treated like a emergency case the moment I arrived at Rahima. And that in the ambulance they were going to monitor my condition not me using our own car than he said next time don't do that. I only give birth to my die baby at 21:35 .I remember the faces they ddnt introduce themselves to me and I didn't check for their name tags at the time.
For the nurse at Discovery hospital she failed to give me the required treatment to keep me, my baby safe and was neglected to obtaining medical assistance.
The nurse in Rahima Moosa left us unattended.
