I booked with a consultant Terryn Merrified for a trip abroad the MSC Opera departing 28th February 2014 and Returning 3 March 2014. This is a themed cruise with the code Lotus. Terryn submitted a quote to me and I paid a deposit of R3000. I made an error on the deposit confirmation and put the wrong booking code. I was given 3 booking codes. When I phoned in to make the full payment so that I could travel I am not getting any assistance from the person I am dealing with. I was told that my query was being escalated to Management but to date I have had no feedback. I was quoted R8018 and now I am being told that I must pay a further R1000. I have sent numerous emails to Mdendulo Mthethwa and have called her on several occasions, my work phone record will indicate the number of times I have called. But It is difficult to get through the call centre and I wait for over half and hour at a time only to have the person who picks up the call put the phone down on me. This is totally not acceptable. I want to finalise my booking as per the quote I received but the service is not what I expected from such a reputable company. Please assist me as there is only 4 weeks left.
