I normally order my cakes from a large well known party shop in Alberton.
I have always been happy - this time I was shocked, disappointed & upset.
My 2 tier cake was thin and so small, covering on cake so thin - could see the cake. lots of dents and cracking on icing. The top layer seemed like it was sinking in the lower cake. Some of them covered by stars, etc. to hide these.
The lady in the shop told me that she had a new baker (Scilla's Cake). I was further embarassed during the cutting & serving as the cake was dry, dense and mouldy.
It is disappointing that this baker could sell a cake - not fit for human consumption.
This was taken to & relayed to the party shop and the owner refunded me in full.
