I stayed at the Magoebeskloof Hotel from 24th - 27th December for a Christmas break.
The food, in particular was of very poor quality. Christmas lunch was probably the poorest quality I have encountered. Organisation was very poor as there was only one service station which meant that the queues were very long. Some of the starter had run out within 20 minutes. There were flies all over the food and the staff clearly couldn't cope. When this was pointed out to a member of staff she just walked away without comment.
This same food was offered in the evening for residents. It was only when we complained that we were offered something else from the menu.
Throughout our 3 night stay no-one approached us to find out if we were enjoying our stay or if they could do anything further for us.
On Christmas afternoon the whole pool area was taken over by a party of people (adults) shouting and screaming. Some people were urinating on the grass and one guy actually stripped off and dried his body with his clothes.
I feel the staff should have noted what was going on (they were serving drinks to said people).
No reply to my letter of complaint sent 30th December!
