Dodgy cab company in Cape Town

On new year we took a cab in and out of town as usual. The vehicle seated 7 occupants with the far rear seats being quite difficult to get to. In this incident it was my fault as I had left my cellular phone on the seat right at the back. The cab left and within 5 minutes I realized I had left it in the vehicle. we immediately contacted the call center only to be told that they are too busy and could "possibly" help the following day. We called back numerous times explaining that it would be gone by that time, no assistance was offered. The following day we visited the offices, was told they can check but still too busy. Numerous phone calls, emails, posting on their facebook wall (they simply delete the comments) and no response. Not a single phone call from management, nothing. The beauty of the story is that I was told "our driver would never " but he never ran the meter when taking us home and told us it's a flat rate that night. He gave us a fake name, 6 people in the vehicle who have informed Unicab, no action. Two weeks now, they have a post on their facebook wall stating users need to take reg details of vehicles, this is shameful, dodgy and ridiculous.
