Incorrect Salary tiering/ waiting period

Ok I have been introduced by a Broker Nazir Bulbulia to Discovery Health. I receive a salary which puts me in the lowest tier for my premium. I do however receive ad hoc payments for projects which are erratic, some months we receive it, it is no an overtime nor a commission, it is for ad hoc projects. From December we will no longer receive this income going forward. This is totally unfair to expect someone earning R6200 to pay R1400 in a premium. this is more than 20% of my salary.
Furthermore I have been on a medical aid scheme for over 10 years and then there is still a waiting period???
Really the service I have received from Discovery Health leaves a lot to be desired. Calls disconnected, every piece of information required from me was provided, payslips, irp 5, bank statements, a letter explaining my income and the termination of my current medical aid as I am an overage dependent.
I chose discovery due to the word in the market that it is the best choice, but it is with regret in hindsight.
Awaiting resolution.
