Lack of communication and signs

My friend and I arrived at uShaka at about 9:15 am with tickets that we had booked online. We had been checked into uShaka at 9:46am (according to our time stamps on uShaka wrist bracelet). we had decided to first go have fun at uShaka 'wet and wild' and then enjoy some time in the aquarium. we had noticed that rain clouds were pulling in later in the afternoon so decided to quickly go look at mini town. we asked the lady at the exit if it would be ok for us to leave and then return later, she said yes. not once were we told that uShaka marine world was closing at 3pm. NOT WHEN WE GOT OUR BRACELETS AT THE TICKET BOOTH OR WHEN WE HAD LEFT, with the intention of returning to look at the aquarium. neither my friend or I saw any signs when we had arrived in the morning stating that it closes early. when we got back from mini town at about 3pm, we saw the gates were closing, so we went to the other entrance where we were told we could not go in as they were busy closing for a function... at 3pm. we were shocked at the lack of communication and lack of informing people about the time changes.
