POOR SERVICE BY THE FRONT OFFICE RECEPTION

I have checked in the hotel on Friday 01-November-2013 and the lady at the reception reserved a R2000, 00 purchase on my platinum cheque debit card, then sunday the 3rd when we check out she told us that the reservation that that we did was not really a payment and we need to pay the full amount then our money will be reversed back with immediate effect. We have tried to show the receptionist the sms from the bank as the proof of purchase but called the manager Leticia who did not understand. Worst part the manager promised to call the following day to check if we received our money but never called until we call on wednesday. Since that week we have been calling and our money is not transferred to us yet.

This the poor service that i have never experienced in any big nice Hotel like Protea Hotel Richards Bay Waterfront
