It's my third trip to the Holiday Inn Sandton in 6 weeks, staying for just a night or two on each occasion. The hotel is very busy and often 100% full.
Upon arrival at the Gautrain Sandton station, a shuttle (Mercedes sedan) came to collect me, with complimentary chilled mineral water ready and waiting.
At check in, one of the lovely receptionists - Vimbayi Sangweni - remembered me and welcomed me by name! Truly excellent customer service and a great example of African hospitality.
Nice work Holiday Inn!
