Frustrated - Champix claim

I logged a enquiry as to why a progressive medical aid does not cover the drug Champix as part of the health benefit - it comes from the savings account, the drug is used to aid a person giving up smoking, in my view the way discovery promotes this and the benefit to both Health and Life policies is far greater than not doing it. I have sent numerous emails to which I get a different response every time. I am a little frustrated. One email says we could have used Zyban (We acknowledge your comments but for Discovery Health to fund a certain product or procedure it need to meet the clinical entry criteria. I can confirm that Zyban is covered on your plan, an alternative for Champix.). I then had a response which didnt answer what I was asking (Thank you for your email Discovery Health does pay for the product Champix. The product is an over the counter medication and will be paid from the Medical Savings Account). i replied and then had a response about a medication called Champed!!! Not the same medicine in question. Now I have a response which says all medicine including Zyban is not covered??? In contradiction to the original email sent. Frustrated that no one reads content
