I obtained authorisation for a Natural Birth but had to have an emergency c section. My Dr was on holiday so the locum operated. The Drs account for the was R7500.00. I submitted the account and Resolution paid R1900.00. I phoned and queried it they told me its wrong and will be resubmitted but then came back saying that they won't pay anything further. Then after paying every month I phone two weeks ago asking their help. Surely a Dr can't just slap me with an account of R7500.00 without warning me about the exorbitant fee's? The helpful lady told me my authorisation code wasn't linked to the account that's why the payout was so low. She fixed it told me to wait a week then check on the account that will be paid in full. She also told me I will have to claim the money I have already paid the Dr back from the Dr. I was over the moon and stopped paying the Dr immediately. I waited a week called back and was told the account wasn't resubmitted I have to resend it. I did so and received an email back saying it won't be paid. I asked why and also phoned and spoke to a supervisor who promised to fix it because it should be paid and phone me on Monday. It's Wednesday and still now word.
