Lancet Laboratories never contacted me to make payment of R151 apparently owing from July 2012. At this time my medical aid had not fully paid other amounts owing to doctors and Mount Edgecombe Life Hospital for more that R151, but I was contacted by the hospital and doctors and paid them promptly in the same month!!!
Lancet SUBSEQUENTLY attended to me (ran tests) in November of 2012 and August 2013, happily gave me my results and got paid by my medical aid for those.
In August I was so excited to get a copy of my results that showed I was clear of cancer, and the lab in Phoenix was so happy to print a copy for me, but not one sign that I owed them R151.
I am mortified to have this bad judgement after having an impeccable credit rating since I was 18 and old enough to get credit.
There are so many people on here with the same complaint!!!
I wont be taking this lightly and will be contacting my lawyer about this.
