On Sunday 1 September our 8 year old son became very ill. He could not keep anything down and all the medicine we administered was not helping. We decided to take him to the Boksburg Medicross to see the doctor. We arrived at 18h08 but the shutter door was pulled down half way. The security told us they were closed but I pointed out that next to the door was the operating hours and it stated that they are open till 18h30 on Sundays and public holidays. We managed to enter were the reception lady told us that the doctor was attending to his last patient and that he would not see any more patients. I argued with the reception lady that their operating hours were until 18h30 and that I demand to see the doctor as my son was so dehydrated that he could not stand on his own two feet. This was like speaking to a wall. We ended up having to leave without any help. My son is OK thanks to the fantastic staff at the Glynwood Hospital and the doctors rates were not that bad.
