Bankmed no longer wants to honour claims

I wasn't forced to be covered by this medical aid. i would have found an alternative long ago. Premiums go up while benefits go down. I have a repeat prescription which has been honoured twice before. Today (19/08/13) i was told to pay in more than a third of the cost of medication. When i called to find out whats going on I was told that all consultants who can assist with my query are not in office and it will be "attended to in 24-48 hours", meanwhile i needed my medication. i also have savings in excess of R7000 (which i paid CGT on) which i also cannot use. they are giving me a runaround everytime they have to payout for my medical expenses. what is the point of the cover then.
