After accepting a quote through Discovery insure for our new vehicle, we accepted a quote as provided by Arshaad. He did, however, incorrectly indicate the vehicle make as a 3-door as opposed to a 5-door, stating that he could not find the 5-door (naming for the 5-door is different through the manufacturer, naming it a Sportback instead). We contacted Discovery to advise them of the incorrect model being listed and requested a change to the appropriate Sportback model only to be slapped with a R160 increase on the premium.
Surely, the error lay on the side of Arshaad that did not correcetly quote us in the first place and due diligence on our behalf to correct the mistake shouldnt be met with an increase without at least discussing the changes and increases. It seems communication is not Discovery's strongsuit
