As part of postpartum health (my angel is 6 months young) one is meant to have a contraceptive. I decided on Mirena and had my medical funds depleted because of the cost of the device. As a gynaecologist one would assume one is knowledgeable in inserting this very expensive (but relatively cheaper in the long run) contraceptive. In March 2013 it was inserted by DR KIBUUKA, a day later I had to go back because he did not cut the wires. All seemed well until 2 days ago when I could see a wire stick out. Shocked, I got home from work later and checked again only to find the wire protruding even more. Went to another gynae and asked him to check if it was in place, he confirmed that the person who intialy inserted it clearly did not know what they were doing!!! Referred me back to this DR and he then himself checked it "its shifted" he said and said it would be better to take it out... mind you I'm the one losing out, he without a care in the world. Cherry on top.. I had to have a pregnancy test result pending. Very unsatisfied, angry and WILL NEVER EVER GO TO HIS PRACTISES AGAIN!!! All this while claiming for consultaion that I would not have needed!
