Seems Dr. Whittaker's ego is too large to learn from the two other complainants on Hello Peter. Her arrogance and dismissive behaviour still continues. I had an appointment on April 10 at 13h30, which I made two months before and even postponed a flight to Johannesburg to make this appointment. One hour before my appointment I called her receptionist who had informed me that Dr. Whittaker is running late. I asked "how late? " only to be told she does not know. I must be prepared to wait and she will see me anytime between 14h30 and 17h00. I was astounded and refused to be subjected to Dr. Whittaker's punctuality (or lack of it). How could a medical professional show such disregard to her patients? I doubt she remembers the oath she had taken! I think an e-mail to the HPCSA is required. In a way, I am lucky that I did not endure myself to her "TEN MINUTE CONSULTATION" worth however much. There are much better, devoted and knowledgeable dermatologists in the Western Cape area. I will wait for Dagmar Whittaker to take a lesson in ethics before I see her!
