Lenmed hospital should not be called private at all. I have experienced better service at government institutes than at this hospital. I lodged a complain to Qurriaya Haffejee months ago and was told by her directly that the manager was also involved and that the complaint was taken seriously. I was told that an investigation would take place and I should wait for response. I mailed her about 3 times thereafter giving her a few weeks to investigate. Yet, there was no response from her. In fact, I know that I was being ignored. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable for a facility that calls themselves private. As a healthcare professional, I have serious concerns about such places because patients pay money to come to these places and are not served until money has been made available, yet, when we expect a little respect and dignity from them, it is not provided. I have seen numerous complaints about Lenmed and would seriously advise that people take these complaints seriously and if possible, avoid supporting them.
