I recently had quite the experience at this guy's (Andreas) offices. First of all, the initial quote given to me before we started the process was wrong - if I didn't have medical Aid such a thing would have bankrupted me instantly. However the doctor isn't the problem - his accountant is. One major problem in the incompetence area. The person handling his accounts overcharged me by R1800, and did not mention it until I confronted her. She had numerous occasions to come clean but instead kept dancing around it until it arose my suspicions. R1800 OVERCLAIMED. This lets me wonder whether or not she would have said anything if I didn't suspect something. Unfortunately this is just too unprofessional and today's economy R1800 isn't just some small problem, although the accounting department handled it like it was just a silly mistake. If a practice treats clients like this - it's time to find a new doctor.
