In January I purchased a gift box of Flat Roof Manor Wines which included a small ice bucket from Pick n Pay Tableview, unfortunately the ice bucket was cracked. Pick n Pay refused to accept it back for credit as I no longer had the proof of purchase. Initially, my reason for purchasing the gift pack was because I liked the ice bucket. I decided to call the wine farm to enquire as to whether they would be able to help. I spoke to Bianca who was most understanding and apologised profusely for the inconvenience. She assured me that she would arrange for one to be kept aside and in view of the long drive from Cape Town to Stellenbosch, she would offer a complimentary cheese board and tasting. Upon arrival at Uitkyk I was welcomed by Bianca and the warmth and hospitality she offered restored my faith in humanity. She was not only friendly but very knowledgeable and went to great lengths to make my visit special. She certainly is a valuable employee and
nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you Bianca for a wonderful day, and I will certainly recommend Uitkyk wine estate to friends and colleagues. The wines I purchased on your recommendation were excellent too! Great service!
