Extremely poor customer service

We placed an order for a kindle on 26 November 2012 - to date (6 February 2013) we are still waiting on delivery. They promised it would be with us before Christmas (around 22 December) - only to follow up and to find their offices WERE CLOSED UNTIL 14 JANUARY 2013.
After several mails - we were informed that the shipment would be here end January (WHY WERE WE NOT INFORMED OF THIS PRIOR TO THE OFFICES CLOSING FOR CHRISTMAS). I asked how long before I would receive it once in their warehouse - they said 2-3 days. Well it's 6 days later - still NO DELIVERY.
I was informed yesterday via e-mail (and very curt correspondence at that) said I would receive it today. Tried calling them and GUESS WHAT - all the voice mail message said was to contact them via E-MAIL and that e-mails will take approximately 12 HOURS to be responded to. How disgustingly poor for customer satisfaction.
We will certainly NOT BE PURCHASING from them either.
