The supplier repaired my Smeg oven 3 weeks ago and responded to that request within the hour. He ensured that I made payment via eft of R2700 that same day - an inflated amount but which I paid. 3 weeks later - this past Monday - the exact same fault appeared on the oven. I called Lloyd that Monday morning 2nd December and followed up with an sms. He said the work would still be under guarantee if it was the same problem. He promised to come the next day, Tuesday. He didn't arrive. I called him on Wednesday and he promised to attend to the matter, saying he was in the area but wouldn't commit to a time. He failed to pitch. I messaged him. His response was an apology, saying he was busy, but that he would come the next day - Thursday. He didn't arrive on Thursday or yesterday, Friday, which is when I messaged him to say that I would be reporting him to Hellopeter.com. I have had no response from him to date. it would appear that if there's a chance that there's no money to be made on the job, should the repair still be under gaurantee, that there's no need to attend to the problem. No communication & over charge from supplier is unacceptable.
