I bought a 40" flatscreen television just 2 years ago from Cat's Digital at the Glen. Six months ago a large black line covering one third of the top of the screen began appearing sporadically. If I manipulated the top of the TV, it disappeared so I lived with it. Last week however, it became a permanent fixture so I sent it in for repairs and was quoted R11K to have it fixed. Surely a product worth R7, 500 like this has a working life of longer than 2 years.
