I'm really appalled by the blow that I have been dealt with by Samsung. I bought a double door refridgerator (water & ice dispenser) in February 2012 and now the frigde is not working. I was told by my insurance that the compressor is dead. For a company that claims to pride itself on 'sustainable quality' and 'good customer service', I find that they are pathetic!
I wouldn't have known that there was something wrong with the compressor had it not been for a technician from my insurer who told me. I didn't even know that I had a 5 warranty on the fridge, had it not been for my colleague.
And yes, unfortunately i found afterwards that apparently no one else is supposed to touch the fridge except for Samsung technicians, something I didn't know of previously. But still I wasn't aware of it and now i'm sitting with big metallic metal box with a fake compressor that I cannot use.
All the above wouldn't have happened had Samsung made sure through quality assurance that the poor quality compressor is not installed in the refridgerator to begin with.
