Desperately trying to get some service from Miele!

We bought at the cost of around R40k a couple of years back a built in caf? /cappuccino maker from Miele's main office in Cape Town. A couple of months back the machine developed a problem and since that time we have been unable to make it work at all.
We have phoned and chased the offices in Cape Town who promise relentlessly to get back to us, send out a technician or at the very least send a quote to have a technician on site - then we chase them for the quote for the part, which of course, is not in this country - two months have gone by and there has been zero feedback from Miele.
This is an expensive product and one would expect sound backup for maintenance and service.
We have received none of the above. The rest of our kitchen is Gaggenau so perhaps we should just toss out the Miele coffee machine and replace this product with a Gaggenau instead.
Will not be an advocate for Miele or any products in future.
