LG Sensor dry 7.5kg drye

In 2011 April I purchased a LG Sensor dry 7.5 dryer from a well known retailer. In May 2013 I heard a noise and decided to take the dryer to Executive Electronics in Polokwane which gave me great service. When we inspected the dryer when the driver collected the unit he wanted to know why the unit doesnt have a filter just below the door. I replied that I purchased the unit new but there was never a filter in this unit appart from the one mounted tothe door. I then made contact with David Sparrow but he only wanted to replace the filer at a cost of R100 but the overall repair cost was R600 and was caused due to the unit not having a filter. I feel LG should cover the cost of the repairs. I
