A year or so ago I bought myself a pair of skullcandy headphones. At the time I did not know it had a life long warranty so after I saw it worked I through the packaging and proof of purchase away. 2 Weeks ago I accidentally snapped the cable of the headphones. After searching the internet for the South African offices I saw they have this lifelong warranty on it and if you broke it they will give you 50% off any new set off headphones.
I was very skeptical and thought there would be some catch but I emailed them in any case. About an hour after the email I got a telephone call from Janis asking if it would be possible to bring it in and select a new pair at 50%.
Thank you very much for honoring the warranty even though I had no proof of purchase. You guys got a customer for life.
